This is an Additional Item because the information was received after the Draft Agenda was released.
Commissioner Vargas is appointing Jo Neeson to be her representative on the Local Planning Agency.
Administration Staff confirmed through the Supervisor of Elections Office that Ms. Neeson is a Martin County registered voter who resides in Commission District 1, as required.
The Administration Staff will advise Ms. Neeson of the Commission's decision, which will include Sunshine Law, conflicts of interest law, public records law information, and Financial Disclosure information as required. A Chair letter and framed Certificate of Appreciation will be mailed to the outgoing representative, Mr. Jared Engskow. The Chair will sign the letter and certificate.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
RECOMMENDATION
1. Move that the Board confirm the appointment of Jo Neeson to be the Commission District 1 representative on the Local Planning Agency for a term to begin immediately and end November 2028.
2. Move that the Board authorize the Chair to sign the Resolution of Appointment.
