BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The Florida Legislature convened for the 2024 Legislative Session from January 9th through March 8th, where 325 bills were enrolled. The FY 24/25 budget provides a total of 117.46 billion dollars, including over $740 million for Everglades restoration. Martin County had 5.5 million dollars in appropriations projects included in the budget. As of the release of the agenda the budget has not been signed.
The presentation provided by Mat Forrest with Ballard Partners will be submitted via supplemental memo.
