BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The Board of County Commissioners appoints a Commissioner each year at its annual reorganization meeting to serve as Martin County’s representative on the TRICO Board of Directors. The proposed policy appoints the County Administrator (or designee) to serve as the alternate representative for TRICO. When the appointed Commissioner is unable to attend a TRICO meeting, after consultation with the appointed Commissioner, the County Administrator has full authority to represent Martin County and take appropriate action as needed to carry out the directive of the appointed Commissioner.
