FCHC and the FDOH originally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in 2012 to provide primary care and maternity care services that the Health Department was no longer able to provide at its Stuart location on Willoughby Boulevard.  In furtherance of the MOA, Martin County entered into a Lease Agreement with FCHC for a portion of office space which is shared with FDOH.

FCHC renewed their Lease with the County on January 1, 2022, which runs concurrent with the MOA and expires on January 1, 2025.

FDOH is in the process of updating and renovating some of the office spaces and have requested and agreed to exchange a few offices with FCHC.  The exchange of leased office space will replace Exhibit “A” of the Lease with a new Exhibit “AA” to indicate the new spaces to be occupied by FCHC.  There are no other changes to the agreement.

The Health Department Stuart Office consists of approximately 36,406 sq. ft.  FCHC will now occupy 4,556 sq. ft. and FDOH has a net area of approximately 18,945 sq. ft.  There is almost 12,000 sq. ft. of common space which consists of restrooms, corridors, janitor space, storage, and lobby.
