BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

The latest vulnerability assessment, better known as the 2021 Sea Level Rise Report, was presented to the Commission on March 23, 2021.  Since the original presentation, Florida Statute 380.093 was amended and requires that Martin County’s existing vulnerability assessment be in compliance with the amended statute. This is a requirement of the Resilient Florida grant funding program to receive future funds.

Martin County received a planning grant from Resilient Florida to fund the updated report along with the future Adaptation Plan to be presented later.
