BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

In 1999 the Board previously approved the Donation Policy. This amendment adds language which allows the County Administrator, or his/her designee, to authorize additional recognition to donors whose donations are valued at $15,000 or more. Currently, the policy only permits the issuance of a written letter of appreciation. This amendment also removes reference to a prior Martin County code which no longer in effect and changes any reference to the ’Fixed Asset Division’ now to the ‘Purchasing Division’, which is the current division that handles the accounting of fixed assets.
