The Building Department has been providing various Building Official, Inspection and Plan Review Services to the Town of Sewall’s Point on an as-needed basis for many years under an Interlocal Agreement. This proposed Interlocal Agreement replaces the previous one which has expired.

3. Purpose of the Agreement/Contract: Temporary provision of Building Official, Inspection and Plan Review Services.
4. New / Renewal / Modified: This is a new Interlocal Agreement which is replacing an expired one.
5. Duration: This Interlocal Agreement provides for one year of services with options to renew.
6. Benefits to Martin County: Intergovernmental Cooperation
7. Cost to Martin County (annual and potential total): All costs to Martin County are recovered by the Interlocal Agreement.
