BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

Fine Reduction Request for Le Nghi:

This Fine Reduction Stipulation and Agreed Recommended Order involves a parcel located at 1156 NE TERRACE WAY, Jensen Beach, FL, Martin County, Florida.

On March 20, 2024, an Order Finding Violation was issued by the Code Enforcement Magistrate to LE NGHI, for the following violation(s): Section 105.1 FBC- Permits - Permits When Required Incorporated By Sec 21.1 General Ordinances, Martin County Code Section 67.201.B Trash 2023 - Nuisance Declared: Trash, Etc General Ordinances, Martin County Code

Compliance was required by April 30,2024.  On July 18, 2024, an Affidavit of Compliance/Accrued Fines was issued reflecting an outstanding fine of $ 13,300.00 plus costs in the amount of $ 575.00.

Staff has determined that a lien reduction is warranted.  The Respondent was responsible for the violation; and they brought the property into compliance and have offered to pay $1,905.00 to resolve the outstanding fines which have accrued, which represents 10 percent of the total fine plus the $575.00.
