BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The Board entered an Interlocal Agreement with the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) on July 9, 2024 to review and analyze past Planning Studies and the options identified for protecting western lands. On September 24, 2024, the Board directed staff to bring back an update. The purpose of this agenda item is to provide an update on the current efforts to date.
As outlined in the Scope of Services, there are a total of four tasks. The project began in August of 2024 is expected to take eight months with a completion date targeted for the Spring of 2025. The project results will be compiled and culminate in public presentations.
