Project initiation presentation for the Witham Field Strategic Business Plan Update. The 2025 Strategic Business Plan updates the obsolete 2010 Business Plan. The plan will establish clear, measurable goals and priorities to distinguish and identify Witham Field’s strategic business role. Funding for the business plan update comes from a $250,000 Public Transportation Grant Agreement (PTGA) with a 20% ($50,000) local match from the Airport Enterprise Fund.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The 2025 Strategic Business Plan updates the 2010 Airport Business Plan using the Florida General Aviation Business Plan Guidebook from the Florida Department of Transportation's Aviation Office. The primary goal of updating the strategic business plan is to diversify sources of revenue, reduce expenses, secure additional capital funding, rely less on federal and state subsidies, and create more jobs to support Witham Field's economic impact on the community. This goal aligns with Witham Field's state and federal obligations through sponsor assurances to achieve and maintain financial self-sufficiency. The strategic business plan will achieve its goal by gathering and assessing data to create an actionable plan for the Board of County Commissioners and Witham Field staff to follow. This will include airport stakeholder engagement, analysis and assessment of the airport's existing conditions, the development of the business plan and improvement scenarios, and an action plan to implement the recommendations outlined in the strategic business plan.
