BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

Between April 2023 and July 2024, six road segments (listed below and shown in Attachment 1 - Location Maps) were constructed and certified complete by the County Engineer as part of approved road opening permits.

- SE Horizon Avenue

- SW Cargo Way

- SW Horseshoe Trail

- SW Leighton Farm Avenue

- SW 60th Avenue

- SW 66th Street

Each road segment was reviewed and inspected by the Engineer of Record and County staff for compliance with the Martin County Land Development Regulations, Martin County Road & Site Construction Standards, and applicable state standards and the Certifications of Construction Completion have been accepted by the County Engineer.

In accordance with Section 155.38.C, General Ordinances, Martin County Code, the County Engineer is requesting the Board of County Commissioners adopt a resolution acknowledging the six (6) road segments, totaling 4,350 linear feet, were opened by recorded plat or road opening permits and be added to the County’s road inventory.
