BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The Growth Management Department (GMD) is tasked with implementing the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan and the Land Development Regulations in unincorporated Martin County. GMD staff work with County departments and private sector stake holders to manage growth and development and preserve and protect our natural resources with the goal of maintaining the quality of life that Martin County residents envision.
GMD staff manage the daily responsibilities of development review, environmental management, business regulation and customer service while planning for a sustainable and resilient community.
