BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
Ransom Reed Hartman, the Local Planning Agency member for Commission District 5, has resigned. He has served in this capacity since November 2020. Administration Staff will send Mr. Hartman a Certificate of Appreciation and a Chair letter thanking him for serving which will be signed by the Chairman.
Commissioner Ciampi is appointing Ricou (Rick) Hartman to be his representative on the Local Planning Agency. Administration Staff confirmed through the Supervisor of Elections Office that Mr. Hartman is a Martin County registered voter who resides in Commission District 5 as required. Administration staff will send Mr. Hartman Sunshine Law and Financial Disclosure information.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
RECOMMENDATION
1. Move that the Board confirm the appointment of Ricou (Rick) Hartman to be the Commission District 5 representative on the Local Planning Agency for a term to begin immediately and end November 2024.
2. Move that the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the Resolution of Appointment.
