BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

 

The Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers, Inc. is requesting a renewal letter from the Martin County Board of County Commissioners to the Office of the Attorney General Ashley Moody stating an agreement between Martin County and the Crime Stoppers Trust Fund.  The time period is for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2029.

 

This letter is required every three years by the Office of the Attorney General to allow the Crime Stoppers to continue the fight against crimes in the Martin County communities. It has been an agreement since 1999.  The letter to be signed and the letter for 2020 through 2023 are attached.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

RECOMMENDATION

Move that the Board authorize the Chair to sign the letter to Attorney General Ashley Moody.
