BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

Municipal water and sewer from Martin County Utilities (MCU) were not available at the time of the development of the original Golf World on Kanner Highway, located just south of Salerno Road. The Interim Water System agreement allowed for the development of the property using an on-site water system. The former Golf World operations have ceased and the current developer of the new Baron’s Landings Commercial project have entered into a new agreement and paid appropriate connection fees.
