The Utility Department will replace an old rusted out force main and run the equipment adjacent to the Jensen Beach Causeway along the Southeast corner of NE Indian River Drive. In addition, the Utility Department is working with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to obtain and Sovereignty Submerged Lands Easement to extend the service underneath the waterways of the state to provide extended services.
The Real Property Division has confirmed ownership of the easement premises in Renar River Place, LLC. The easement premises is not encumbered by a mortgage.
Sec. 139.31 and 139.32, General Ordinances, Martin County Code require that any conveyance of an interest in land to Martin County for any public purpose shall be accepted and approved by Resolution from the Board of County Commissioners of Martin County.

RECOMMENDATION
Move that the Board adopt a Resolution accepting and approving the Utility Easement from Renar River Place, LLC, and authorize the Chairman to execute any and all documents necessary to complete the transaction.
