On October 21, 2025, the Martin County Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved moving forward with the acquisition of the 16 top priority parcels selected by THE ELOC, as part of the 2024 ten (10) year voter-approved tax referendum for environmentally sensitive lands.
The Perry Beach Addition parcel, which is approximately 1.019-acres, was ranked fifth on the ELOC priority list. This vacant parcel was listed for $2.2 million and had an average appraised value of $1,987,500.
