This is an Additional Item as the request was received after the draft agenda was released.
On August 12, 2026 Josiah Baur was waiting at the railroad crossing on Bridge Road when he saw a car across the tracks that was stuck under the railroad crossing gate. Baur ran across the railroad tracks and lifted the barrier, giving Debbie Spoelstra just enough room to reverse her vehicle out of the path of the approaching train.
