BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

Fine Reduction Request by: Republic Consumer Lending Group Inc.

This Fine Reduction Stipulation and Agreed Recommended Order involves a parcel located at 18230 SE Ridgeview Drive, Tequesta, Martin County, Florida.

On June 29, 2016, an Order Finding Violation was issued by the Code Enforcement Magistrate to REPUBLIC CONSUMER LENDING GROUP INC, for the following violation(s): Section 21.111 - Protective Treatment, General Ordinances, Martin County Code

Compliance was required by August 1, 2016. On May 16, 2022, an Affidavit of Compliance/Accrued Fines was issued reflecting an outstanding fine of $ 208,300.00 plus costs in the amount of $ 575.00.
Staff has determined that a lien reduction is warranted. Respondents were responsible for the violation; and the County brought the property into compliance by condemnation, and the Respondents have offered to pay $ 20,857.50 to resolve the outstanding fines which have accrued.
