Art In Public Places (AIPP) is currently exploring a unique public art opportunity with internationally renowned artists Gillie and Marc, known for their animal, human-animal hybrid, and abstract sculptures displayed worldwide. AIPP staff has been in communication with the Global Project Director for the artists and they are exploring the possibility of funding a loaned piece of art for one year with the option to purchase. To support this initiative, staff is actively exploring partnership funding opportunities to bring this globally recognized artwork to Martin County. The NAC is to discuss the opportunity to place this at Palm City Place and Patio.
