Fine Reduction Request for Lisa M. Chitty and Chris Bishop:

This Fine Reduction Stipulation and Agreed Recommended Order involves a parcel located at 8004 SE Carlton Street, Hobe Sound, FL 33455, Martin County, Florida.

On June 21, 2023, an Order Finding Violation was issued by the Code Enforcement Magistrate to CHITTY LISA M. BISHOP CHRIS, for the following violation(s): Section 67.201.A Weeds - Nuisance Declared: Weeds, Undergrowth General Ordinances, Martin County Code

Compliance was required by July 31, 2023. On April 1, 2025, an Affidavit of Compliance/Accrued Fines was issued reflecting an outstanding fine of $40,100.00 plus costs in the amount of $575.00.
Staff has determined that a lien reduction is warranted. Respondents were responsible for the violation; and, they brought the property into compliance and have offered to pay $4,067.50 to resolve the outstanding fines which have accrued.
