Fine Reduction Request Thomas F Glass:

This Fine Reduction Stipulation and Agreed Recommended Order involves a parcel located at 1769 NW SUNSET BOULEVARD, JENSEN BEACH, FL 34957, Martin County, Florida.

On February 16,2011, an Order Finding Violation was issued by the Code Enforcement Magistrate to GLASS THOMAS F, for the following violation(s): Section 67.201.B - Nuisance Declared: Trash, Etc. General Ordinances, Martin County Code, Section 21.121.1 - Glazing General Ordinances, Martin County Code, Section 21.111 - Protective Treatment General Ordinances, Martin County Code.

Compliance was required by March 9,2011. On September 20,2022, an Affidavit of Compliance/ Accrued Fines was issued reflecting an outstanding fine of $ 1,263,600.00 plus costs in the amount of $575.00.

Staff has determined that a lien reduction is warranted. The Respondent was responsible for the violation; and they brought the property into compliance and have offered to pay $ 21,625.00 to resolve the outstanding fines which have accrued. In addition, staff has considered the $ 216,250.00 assessed value of the property.
