Each year, the Martin County Board of County Commissioners adopts a state legislative program that sets the appropriations and policy priorities for the county. This presentation discusses the 2025 legislative priorities, the successes and any additional direction needed within the legislative program.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The Board, along with staff, advocates throughout the legislative session in Tallahassee as well as Washington, DC to accomplish the legislative priorities of the county. The county maintains a strong network with state and federal agencies, the legislative delegation, neighboring counties, and the community stakeholders to accomplish the goals set out by the legislative program.
The presentation will be distributed just before the Board meeting to assure the most up to date information is being distributed.
