BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
Section 420.9075 (10), Florida Statutes, requires each county to submit to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation (FHFC) an annual report of its affordable housing programs and accomplishments. Transmittal of the annual report certifies that the local housing incentive strategies, or, if applicable, the local housing incentive plan, have been implemented or are in the process of being implemented pursuant to the adopted schedule for implementation. As required by Florida Statutes, the public has been made aware of the annual report and been given the opportunity to inspect and provide comments.
2023/2024 SHIP funds are fully encumbered in Martin County but have not been fully expended due to unforeseen delays in project completions. Once all projects have been completed and all funds fully expended, the revised 2023/2024 SHIP Program Annual Report will be brought back to the Board of County Commissioners for final approval.

RECOMMENDATION
Move that the Board approve the 2023/2024 SHIP Program Annual Report and authorize the Chair to sign the required report certification.
