EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:executive summary

The Art in Public Places program’s annual budget funds operating costs, maintenance costs, and capital project costs.  This is a request for approval of the FY 2025 budget.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

The AIPP Capital Projects Budget utilizes 70% of all revenue for the purchase, creation, installation, engineering, signage and public art programs (i.e., mural program, sponsorships, competitions, events, etc.), whether temporary or permanent. The proposed AIPP Maintenance/Operating Budget, utilizing 30% of all revenue, will be used for maintenance, repairs, administration of the art inventory and program management costs.

3. Hobe Sound Library Benches and Mural

4. Rio Roundabouts

 

Maintenance completed:

1. Manatee Gateway stainless and teak benches

2.  Bronzes (Gate, Poet, Strike Force)

3.  Gresko sculptures

4. Serenity Mosaic Turtle

5. Tuckahoe Mosaic Lily Pond

6. Magnify - Cummings Library

This item has been reviewed for legal sufficiency to determine whether it is consistent with applicable

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

Move that the PAAC approve FY 2025 AIPP budgets.
