BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

In the Golden Gate Community Redevelopment Plan #2.3 Neighborhood Improvement Program

prioritizes infrastructure installation, and streetscape redevelopment. This would include paving,

lighting, sidewalks, landscaping and traffic calming. It specifically calls for curb and gutter streets,

sidewalks, parking and improvement of alleys. The first major step, installation of sewer, has been

completed, which now allows for new roadway design.
