The subject site is adjacent to the All Saints Episcopal Church at 2303 NE Seaview Drive, Jensen Beach. Included with this application is a request for a Certificate of Public Facilities Exemption.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The subject site is adjacent to the All Saints Episcopal Church at 2303 NE Seaview Drive, Jensen Beach. The subject site is located west of NE Dixie Highway and east of the FEC Railroad, approximately 300 feet south of the intersection of NE Dixie Highway and NE Indian River Drive, in Jensen Beach.
The site is currently zoned A-2, Agricultural District, with a Future Land Use (FLU) designation of General Institutional. The A-2, Agricultural District, is a Category "C" district that is not consistent with the General Institutional FLU assigned to the property. Additionally, a covenant to the PS zoning district was established on the subject site in 1995, as recorded in Official Records Book 1140, Page 2054, Martin County, Florida.
The PS-2, Public Service District, is the only standard Category "A" zoning district available which both implements the General Institutional land use policies of the Comprehensive Growth Management Plan (CGMP) and permits the current use of the property as a cemet...
