BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The purpose of this agenda item is for the Board to consider adoption of the 2019 State Legislative Priorities in anticipation of the 2019 Legislative Session. The Board’s annual legislative program helps assist in the implementation of its strategic goals.
ISSUES:
The Florida Association of Counties (FAC) will have their annual legislative conference from November 28-30, 2018. Staff will attend the conference and bring back their recommendations for consideration at a subsequent Board of County Commissioners meeting.
