EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The CRA signed a contract with TCRPC for the development and establishment of new land development regulations in each of the six CRA areas. The contract was approved by the CRA in May 2018 and approved by the Board of County Commissioners in June 2018. This presentation discusses the proposed new Article 12. Division I recommends the general rules to apply to all CRA areas while Division II is specific to the proposed changes to the Jensen Beach CRA area.
On June 5, 2019, The Jensen Beach NAC adopted a motion recommending that this move forward to the Agency with some questions to be answered. This presentation will answer those questions.
A copy of the proposed changes and recommendations is attached for your review.
BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL: The development and establishment of new land development regulations in each of the six CRA areas to assist in the implementation of the vision and recommendations contained in each of the CRA Community Redevelopment Plans.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Provide input and direction, as necessary or desired, regarding the proposed content of the draft Article 12, Division I and Division II Jensen Beach CRA,
and
2. Move that the Agency adopt a motion supporting the scheduling of a public hearing before the Local Planning Agency on the draft Article 12, Division I and Division II Jensen Beach CRA.
