BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The list of 2019 Special Events Requiring Road Closure(s) identifies each event, its sponsor, the date the event is held, and the impacted roadway(s). The Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce has asked to add three events to the 2019 Special Events Requiring Road Closure(s). The recurring event is the Hobe Sound Chow Down - Food Truck Series. The requested event dates are October 25, 2019, November 22, 2019, and December 27, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. As part of the recurring event, the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce would like to close SE Olympus Street from east of the Hobe Sound Community Fire Station (Station 32) to SE Hercules Avenue.

RECOMMENDATION
Move that the Board amend to the “2019 Special Events Requiring Road Closure(s)” for calendar year 2019 to include the Hobe Sound Chow Down - Food Truck Series events in October, November, and December.
