When the ordinance was adopted for the recently updated Historic Preservation Land Development Regulations, staff thought it would be an appropriate time to update the forms associated with historic preservation in Martin County. This agenda item includes the newly designed Petition for Local Designation and Staff Report that goes with it.
Moving forward, we will update all Martin County Historic Preservation forms and templates creating a unified and comprehensive section of forms and templates. Future forms to be brought forward for your review will include: Application for the Certificate of Appropriateness, Application for the Certificate to Dig, a Stop Work Order, Notice to Owner for lack of maintenance and repair, Application of Tax Exemption, Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions providing for the tax exemption, and a Power of Attorney.
