In the 2019 Legislative Session, the Florida Legislature amended FL Statute 163, Part III, Community Development, now requiring members of the Community Redevelopment Agency Board to complete 4 hours of ethics training per year.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

In the 2019 Legislative Session, the Florida Legislature amended FL Statute 163, Part III, Community Development.  As of January 1, 2020, the body that governs the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is required to complete 4 hours of ethics training per calendar year.  The training must include:

Article II, Section 8 of the Florida Constitution
Part III, Chapter 112, Florida Statutes (Code of Ethics)
Pubic Records
Public Meetings (Sunshine Law)
