The County's Negotiations Management Team is requesting an executive session to discuss the labor negotiations with IAFF.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
Martin County is currently in the process of collective bargaining negotiations with IAFF. The current collective bargaining agreement with IAFF expires on September 30, 2020. The County's Negotiations Management Team is requesting an executive session to discuss the labor negotiations. The Board of County Commissioners has a limited exemption under Florida Statutes ? 447.605 which allows the Board to meet in an executive session to discuss collective bargaining issues.
This session will be attended by each of the five County Commissioners, the Negotiations Management Team Members and the County Attorney.
