The CRA signed a contract with the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council (TCRPC) for the development and establishment of new land development regulations in each of the six CRA areas to assist in the implementation of the vision and recommendations contained in each of the CRA Community Redevelopment Plans.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The Community Redevelopment Agency signed a contract with the TCRPC for the development and establishment of new land development regulations in each of the six CRA areas. The contract was approved by the CRA in May 2018 and approved by the Board of County Commissioners in June 2018. This presentation discusses the proposed new Article 12, Division V Hobe Sound CRA. These are the proposed land development regulations and zoning amendments specific to the Hobe Sound CRA area.
On March 11, 2020, the Hobe Sound NAC unanimously adopted a motion recommending that this move forward to the CRA. Due to COVID-19, the March 23, 2020 meeting of the CRA Board was cancelled. Instead it was heard by the LPA on April 2, 2020 where a motion was adopted recommending that this move forward to the CRA and the BOCC.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Provide input and direction, as necessary or desired, regarding the proposed content of the draft Article 12, Division V Hobe Sound CRA.
2. Move that the Agency recommend that the Board of County Commissioners adopt the draft Article 12, Division V Hobe Sound CRA.
