BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is a public entity established under the guidelines of the Community Redevelopment Act (Chapter 163, Part III, Florida Statutes) to implement community redevelopment activities. The Annual Report identifies the projects and initiatives that have been undertaken by the CRA through the fiscal year 2019 (FY19). Fiscal Year 2019 is defined as a calendar year starting October 1, 2018 and ending September 30, 2019.
Section 163.356(3) (c), F.S., states that: An agency authorized to transact business and exercise powers under this part shall file with the governing body, on or before March 31 of each year, a report of its activities for the preceding fiscal year, which report shall include a complete financial statement setting forth its assets, liabilities, income, and operating expenses as of the end of such fiscal year. At the time of filing the report, the agency shall publish in a newspaper of general circulation in the community a notice to the effect that such report has been filed with the county or municipality and that the report is available for inspection during business hours in the office of the clerk of the city or county commission and in the office of the agency.
