FPL has requested the County provide a utility easement for added underground electrical service on County owned property leased by FOS on Hutchinson Island in Stuart.  This new underground service is required to provide for service to the new Ocean Eco-Center Project for FOS.  FPL has provided a sketch and legal description for the Utility Easement, which has been reviewed by the County Surveyor.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

 

RECOMMENDATION

Move that the Board grant Florida Power & Light Company an underground easement and authorize the Chairman to execute any and all documents necessary to complete this transaction.
