BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

JBI 2400, LLC Fine Reduction Request:

This Fine Reduction Stipulation and Agreed Recommended Order involves a parcel located at 2400 NE Indian River Drive, Jensen Beach, Martin County, Florida.

On June 17, 2019, an Order Finding Violation was issued by the Code Enforcement Magistrate to JBI 2400, LLC, for the following violation(s): Section 67.201 - Nuisance Declared: Trash Etc. , Section 21.99 - Accessory Structures, Section 67.323 A - Notice of Defacement, Section 3.201.C.2.I - Accessory Uses - Commercial Equipment, Section 123.2 Tax - Local Business Taxes, General Ordinances, Martin County Code.

Compliance was required by July 31, 2019. On November 5, 2019, an Affidavit of Compliance/Accrued Fines was issued reflecting an outstanding fine of $46,100.00 plus costs in the amount of $575.00

Staff has determined that a lien reduction is warranted. The respondent brought the property into compliance and has offered to pay $4,667.50 to resolve the outstanding fines which have accrued, which represents ten percent of the total fine due.
