The Library's current Long-Range Services Plan will expire on September 30, 2020. The new Long-Range Services Plan was developed to guide the staff of the Martin County Library System in the operations and programming of Library services from October 2020 to September 2023.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

The Long-Range Services Plan is required for the Library to apply for and receive State Aid to Libraries grant funds from the Florida Department of State, Division of Library and Information Services.

ISSUES:

With a projected increase in our aging populations, our new Long-Range Services Plan will focus on evaluating and delivering library, information, and technology services to these residents.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

RECOMMENDATION
Move that the Board adopt the 2021-2023 Long Range Services Plan.
