BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

This Fine Reduction Stipulation and Agreed Recommended Order involves a parcel located at 7550 SW Jack James Dr. C-14, Stuart, FL. 34997, Martin County, Florida

On April 15, 2015, a Stipulation Order Finding Violation was issued by the Code Enforcement Magistrate to Hemajay LLC, for the following violation(s): Section 105.1 Florida Building Code (FBC), - required, as incorporated by Section 21.1, General Ordinances, Martin County Code.

Compliance was required by August 1, 2015. On March 29, 2016, an Affidavit of Compliance/ Accrued Fines was issued reflecting an outstanding fine of $13,000.00.

Staff has determined that a lien reduction is warranted. Respondent has offered to pay $1,300.00 to resolve the outstanding fines which have accrued.

RECOMMENDATION
Move that the Board accept the Magistrate's recommendations that the lien on the property be reduced to $1,300.00 and accepted as full payment.
