body
BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
The AIPP Ordinance states that the program’s funds shall be, as close as possible, allocated as follows: 70% of all revenue will reflect the cost of artwork purchase, creation, installation and public art programs (i.e., mural program, sponsorships, competitions, etc.), whether temporary or permanent; and 30% of all revenue is used for maintenance, repairs and administration of the art inventory and program management costs.
The PAAC has been presented with two budgets in the past, an Operating Budget and a Capital Projects Budget. We will now be demonstrating our funding stream and expenses in a new, easier to read format. This new format will also greatly assist with project planning and inventory maintenance.
