BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
In March of 2021, Martin County purchased the 5.4-acre property that is located on SE Kubin Avenue. Currently, this vacant parcel is designated as Residential Estate Density (2 units per acre) with R-1B zoning district. Since the property is located so closely to Maggy's Hammock Park, changing the parcel's future land use designation and zoning to conservation land use and zoning would be more appropriate.
