the Bridge Road Main Street project improvements
7. Cost to Martin County: $92,085.00 which is budgeted in the Bridge Road Main Street Project
The Bridge Road Main Street project will promote economic development by providing new infrastructure, increased parking, new sidewalks, street lighting, and landscaping. As part of this project, staff is coordinating with FPL to underground the electric lines located on SE Lares Avenue between Bridge Road and SE Anstis Place, including transformers, switch cabinets and other appurtenant facilities. The agreements necessary to accomplish the electrical undergrounding are as follows:
1. City/County Right-of-Way Agreement for Underground Conversions (WR #9920423). This document authorizes the use of the Right-of-Way (ROW) by FPL for the conversions. It also requires the County to reimburse FPL for costs to relocate, locate, expose, protect, rearrange, adjust or support the Underground Facilities when such services are required by the County or agency under County control.
2. Underground Facilities Conversion Agreement (NON-GAF). This document establishes the cost for the underground conversion and provides the County with a $4,847.00 credit toward the project. (This assumes FPL performs all UG work)

RECOMMENDATION
Move that the Board approve the agreements with FPL for undergrounding of utilities associated with the Bridge Road Main Street Project and authorize the Chair to execute the documents.
