BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
Martin County is currently in the process of collective bargaining negotiations with Teamsters. The current collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters expires on September 30, 2021. The County's Negotiations Management Team is requesting an executive session to discuss the labor negotiations. The Board of County Commissioners has a limited exemption under Florida Statutes Section 447.605 which allows the Board to meet in an executive session to discuss collective bargaining issues.
This session will be attended by each of the five County Commissioners, the Negotiations Management Team Members and the County Attorney.
