BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

 

The list of 2021 Special Events Requiring Road Closure(s) identifies each event, its sponsor, the date the event is held, and the impacted roadway(s).  Staff was asked to have the Mapp Road Town Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony added to the Special Events Requiring Road Closures July 1st, 2021 through June 30th, 2022 list.  This event will be held on Saturday, August 14th.  As part of the event, staff has asked to close SW Mapp Road at the intersection of SW Mapp Road and SW 32nd Street in Palm City.

RECOMMENDATION

Move that the Board approve the Revised List of Special Events Requiring Road Closure(s) July 1st, 2021 through June 30th, 2022 to include the Mapp Road Town Center Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
