The new Martin Murals program was approved and recommended for funding by the Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) as part of the Art in Public Places (AIPP) program on May 24, 2021. Staff has drafted an application and project description for the Committee’s input and approval.

BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:
Part of the mission of AIPP is to create a high-quality public realm in a manner that is visible and accessible to the public. AIPP now has a mechanism to assist businesses, artists, property owners and residents in creating and installing murals throughout the County. The attached document includes the criteria, eligibility requirements, and application process for the Martin Murals program. A draft application is also included.
