As part of the Art in Public Places Program, there has been interest in creating and installing new signage at each of the artworks in the inventory. Some of the installations have old signage and the signage lacks consistency. Staff has created a new sign template that showcases the new program logo, carries consistent information and indicates that the piece is part of the AIPP program.
At the last meeting, the Public Art Advisory Committee requested the cost to change out all the signs now or just do the necessary ones now and replace the others as needed in the future. The attachment delineates the cost of each sign and the total to do all now versus the as needed approach.
