The NAC members discussed installing some holiday decorations in the Port Salerno CRA this year. This led to a discussion of banner poles and banners. Staff was directed to perform an inventory of what poles (with banner arms) we have and their location. The attached graphic shows that information.
Staff has also looked at the banners that are available and we have:
6 Blue Port Salerno Pelican banners
20 Green Holiday Wreath banners
The Committee can decide to utilize these banners or purchase new. For new banner designs, we would recommend utilizing an organization called 99Designs which offers a wide variety of designers, with input from the client, the opportunity to design something and send in their submittal. The Ft. Pierce CRA used this design contest process for their new logo and they received many excellent submittals and highly recommend it. Based on that, the Rio CRA recently used this design contest process as well for their new banners. The submissions are attached for your information.
