BACKGROUND/RELATED STRATEGIC GOAL:

For the past few years, the Board has established priorities for the up-coming year.  On December 7, 2021, the Board discussed their priorities for 2022.  A matrix of each Commissioner’s priority is provided with this item, the shaded sections reflect priorities which are similar, and the status immediately follows the stated priority.

Many of the priorities reflected are on-going, and staff will continue to include them in their departmental work programs, some have been completed, and some cannot be accomplished this year due to Board direction.

As the Board begins deliberations on the fiscal year 2023 (FY23) budget, which includes the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), projects and priorities that will require additional funding, or a dedicated source of funding, will obviously impact the total of the budget and possibly the tax rate.
