Travelling west from SW Kanner Highway, SW Locks Road has a posted speed limit of 40 MPH until SW Buckskin Trail, where the speed limit is reduced to 30 MPH. The County Engineer recommends the posted speed limit of 30 MPH begin at SW 18th Avenue, before the curve in the road.
