EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

executive summary

Israel Mireles, member of the Florida Anthropological Society (FAS), will present his research and proposed build. It appears that the project would be most centered around the Calusa and Seminole Tribes, with only partial finding based off of the Ais Native Americans. Further detail will be given in regard to the integration of European technology amongst Florida Native Americans in order to maintain their way of life while also adapting to European influence with one such method being the use or copycat design of a sailboat and catamaran style canoes.
